The World No Tobacco Day event was recently successfully organised, featuring an awareness walk that drew over 300 participants. Co-organised by the Ministry of Health, WHO Lao PDR, SEATCA, and UNDP in Laos, the event aimed to educate the public about tobacco’s harmful effects and demonstrate support for tobacco control measures.

RDK Group played a key role in orchestrating the event. Our responsibilities included coordinating invitations with the Ministry of Health, managing event setup and teardown, and arranging logistics such as stage setup, sound systems, seating, and security.

RDK Group also handled props, t-shirts production and event documentation through photography and videography.

This successful event highlights the growing awareness of tobacco-related health issues in Lao PDR and the importance of community engagement in public health initiatives.
